Teen Scene Café URGENTLY needs Volunteers to remain open for the coming year. We run from September to the end of May each year and open on a Tuesday night from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm in Dunlavin Parish Centre. We are available for teenagers from the age of 12-16 years old and we provide a warm safe environment for them to hang out for one night a week. Due to turnover of volunteers this year we will be unable to open unless new volunteers come forward. The commitment needed will be only two nights each month as we intend to run the club on a roster basis for volunteers. All volunteers will be Garda Vetted before they can begin and this takes several months to be verified, therefore in order to open in September we need all volunteers to apply within the next month. Please contact Siobhán at 087 2391672 if you are interest in giving your time to this worthy resource for teenagers in our community.
