Hello!

We have done a lot of work and we want to tell you what our opinions are after this experience.

Hope you like them! :)

Thank you.

“I think the phoenix project has helped me in many ways. One way it helped me was it showed me how to set up a website and it also helped me learn more about Dunlavin.”

Rebecca Stephenson

“I fell that this project has helped me in many ways like using a computer, how to make a website and i've learned about the history of Dunlavin.”

Darragh Callaghan

“I thought this project would be a very useful thing for the community to have and I am very happy to be part of it a setting it up.”

Garreth Kelly

“I feel this project is helping us to see more into the creating of a web site and how much work is involved in doing so. We have learned many things from uploading pictures to creating new information.  It was difficult at times to get into to the work on the site but after we got into the swing of it, it went well!! It helped me learn more about the different groups in Dunlavin and has given me a lot of confidence by getting information and meeting different people along the way. This project has been very fun and would recommend it if it were possible for other TY years to do this.”

Sarah Fitzpatrick

“I really enjoyed the Phoenix project however a little more work could be done if more time was available. The lack of time means we have to rush the project so it’s not as enjoyable as it could have been. I was put in charge of the history of Dunlavin. I would have liked more help because is such a huge topic and to much work for just one person.”

Shane Finnegan

“I thought it was an ok project but sometimes it was difficult but the good thing about was that it will help people understand more about the community and get involved.”

Jamie Clarges

“When I first heard about the project I didn’t know what to expect. When the project was fully explained to us, I thought it would be a challenge. This was true as it was a long on-going project but it was definitely worth the hard work. I was working with First Responders. I am really looking forward to seeing the finished website.”

Nicola Rigley

“I think the phoenix project is good but could be more enjoyable because are fixed for time everything is in a panic but its good that people will understand more about the community.”

Sean Phelan

“When I heard about this project I was happy because I have a back round in computers but during it I realised it was not only about the computers there was a lot of researched involved for such a small town but it will all be worth it for people of the town and people outside the town so they know what we have in Dunlavin.”

Philip Lynch

“I think that Project Phoenix was a very good idea, and could potentially be very successful. Although it is very challenging it is good to see what we can achieve when everyone comes together to get information needed. There is a lot more work In doing this project than I at first thought, but I think all the work we put in will be very worthwhile when we see the finished internet site and what we have helped it achieve. I really enjoyed doing this project because I learned a lot from the experience. It was new and exciting because I had never done anything like it before. I would do it again.

Jennifer Metcalfe

“Project Phoenix for me was and still is a challenge but when you see everything coming together its well worth it. Making a website is a great thing to know how to do. I feel that this project will be a great success as long as we keep putting in the work. I would definitely recommenened this project be continued to run with a high standard of work put into it. Overall I really enjoyed the project.”

Niamh Kenny

“The phoenix project website is a helpful way for people to gain awareness of all the entertainments and all committees that are locally established.  Now, it is possible to check out the latest news and to take part in any of the shows available. Through common interests, people can communicate and discuss their reactions towards a particular event.  This project provides the readers with Dunlavin’s long history and any upcoming events. My opinion is that our class goals were reached and hopefully the website will serve well to the locals and the one’s who want to experience the thrill in the simple village called Dunlavin.”
